This artist’s work reflects an obsession with drawing and painting the human figure and a fascination with observing and describing people in their environment. The artist works mainly in oils and charcoal, blocking out backgrounds with thick brushstrokes, allowing charcoal lines to show through the paint in order to create a sense of energy, movement and immediacy. 

This award-winning artist regularly has work selected to exhibit at the Mall Galleries, London including the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, New English Art Club, Society of Women Artists and the Pastel Society.
